How can we meet your needs?

Marketground is the easiest website maker in the world and FMNZ is pleased to offer the latest technology and resources to our member markets and stallholders.

Here you will find information on all the training courses FMNZ offers to its members, as well as schedules, resources and the latest announcements so you always know what's on offer from FMNZ and Marketground.  You can request to register for any training course through our online forms, and of course, don't hesitate to contact someone on our training team should you have any questions.
FMNZ 2012 Conference: to be held in Auckland 2 & 3 July. If you have any suggestions about a topics, themes or questions about the conference, then we would love to hear them. FMNZ is looking for help with accommodation in the Auckland region, if you have a spare room or bed that we can host some of our traveling delegates into please contact accounts@farmersmarkets.org.nz

Taste Farmers’ Markets Awards 2012: All results will be announced on the 1st July prior to the Conference at a Cocktail Party.  The awards are open only to  FMNZ members and Producers that sell at our member markets.  Chefs including Master Chef Winner 2011 Nadia Lim and Restaurateur of the year Jonny Schwass will judge the producer categories at Restaurant NZ’s Taste Venue in Auckland on May 10 th.  For more details Click Here

FMNZ Executive: if you are interested in participating in the FMNZ governance matters and want to actively contribute to the development of our organisation, please contact us and we are happy to discuss further.  We look forward to introducing you to our two newest FMNZ Exec members, Maggie from Gisborne FM and Wendy from Lyttelton FM

FMNZ Membership: your membership fees are vital for the successful running of FMNZ. Benefits include -  access to FMNZ Forum and Conference (alternating years) and the ongoing work in raising the profile and awareness of Farmers' Markets.  FMNZ currently  sits at the MAF & NZFSA table in Wellington and represents our members in regards to the proposed Food Bill that will go through Parliament this year.

North Island update:  Four North Island Farmers Markets have received the most votes for the best Farmers Market in the first two weeks of the Taste Awards online competition; the fine Autumn weather is helping localvores support their favourite Farmers’ Markets.  You can view Chef Stephen Barry Tauranga Farmers’ Market on You tube -

South Island update: Central Otago FM is closed for the winter and will reopen on Labour weekend. Unfortunately Rangiora FM has closed recently  but the Ohoka Farmers’ Markets is stronger than ever.  Nelson and Marlborough Farmers Markets have worked together on a giant pumpkin growing competition with their local district Health Board and a overview will be provided at the FMNZ conference
