The Oamaru Farmers' Market is open every Sunday between 9.30am and 1pm at the intersection of Wansbeck Street and Tyne Street behind the railway goods shed in the Oamaru historic precinct.
Meet the growers, farmers and producers of the best seasonal produce our region has to offer. You'll be sure to find a fantastic selection of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, plants, baking, preserves, eggs and more.
Take the time to enjoy the Oamaru Farmers' Market experience. Grab a coffee and a tasty bite to eat, listen to some music and catch up with friends.
Make sure you also explore the gorgeous Victorian precinct across the road from the market on Sundays too. The bunting and flags will be flying; people in Victorian costume will be parading the streets; Penny Farthing bicycles will be in action to amuse the kids, plus there will be live music and street performers to keep shoppers entertained.
...So come on down and Get Fresh with the Locals at the Oamaru Farmers' Market!
NEWS FLASH!!
What a great day we had to mark our first birtdhay! Not only did the weather hold out for us, but the cakes prepared by Kelly's Cakes and Pen-y-bryn Lodge were a real treat. Photos of the market, including the Mayor and Mayoress cutting the birthday cake, can be seen on our Flickr page, which you can access by clicking
