Thank you to our market Clown ‘Shenanigans, also Burnzee & Hester for the cooking up a storm, Hartley Towersey from the Ruamahanga River Band, and Paula & Heath who supplied the Bouncy Castles for the kids. Anotrher great day at the market !!
'Right Royal' Farmers Market
Their Royal Highnesses, Prince Charles & Camilla visited our authentic Farmers Market on the 15th November 2012, and showed genuine interest specifically in our honey, wines, bread and olive oil stalls. Our market chef 'Hester Guy' gave Camilla the secret recipe for her special sauce which topped the fresh asparagus and yam dish.
The Royals were presented with documentation about three varieties of Hostas grown by Wayne and Maureen from Mauways, which are to be shipped to Highgrove Gardens at Windsor Castle in January 2013.
