Anti-spam policy
If you are associated with a sports organisation, sports club or school, and your email address is published or has been provided to us as being the appropriate contact email for a representative for the sports organisation, sports club or school, you may receive email relating to the free website provided for your sports organisation, sports club or school.

We have used reasonable endeavors to ensure that any contact details entered by our administrators is correct. However, we acknowledge that an email address may be incorrect due to the passage of time or human error. If you believe you are receiving spam from the Sportsground service, please let us know by emailing spam@sportsground.co.nz and we will address the situation as quickly as possible.

In other instances, we may send you email if you provide your email address via the service. If you elect to receive email from Sportsground or its sub-sites, you are 'opting in' as defined under anti-spam legislation and we are entitled to send you emails, including information about our company and promotional material from some of our affiliated partners. Our policy is to immediately cease emailing you upon your request. Any newsletters and announcements we email you will contain clear and obvious instructions for how you can remove yourself from that emailing list.

Sportsground uses email as a means of receiving feedback, and we encourage you to email us with your questions or comments.

Sportsground provides facilities throughout the site to refer a friend to Sportsground or to email a page or sports draws information to a friend. You may not use the "Email this page to a friend" service or other email forwarding services that we offer to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our privacy policy or our Terms and Conditions. Thank you for your support of this free service.

Spam filter settings
If you haven't received an email that you were expecting from Sportsground or Schoolground, you should check your junk mail folder and also ensure that your junk mail settings are not blocking our emails. If you use an email program such as Outlook or Windows Mail, you should add admin@sportsground.co.nz and admin@schoolground.co.nz to your address book and the domains "sportsground.co.nz" and "schoolground.co.nz" are added to your safe list.

If you use Hotmail or Yahoo for your email, here are instructions on how to update your safe list:

Hotmail: Create a Safe List for incoming messages

Login to your Hotmail account.
Click Options.
On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection.
Click Safe List.
Type the domain sportsground.co.nz and then click Add.
Type the domain schoolground.co.nz and then click Add

Yahoo: Create a Safe List for incoming messages

Login to your Yahoo account.
Click Options on the right of the page.
Ensure you are viewing Mail Options (left of page)
Click Filters.
Click Add and give the filter the name 'Sportsground'.
Set the From header to be 'contains' sportsground
For 'Then move the message to' select Inbox
Click Add Filter
Repeat steps 5 - 8 above for the name schoolground.
