To make the most of your Farmers' Market, we suggest:
-
you get there early for the freshest produce and best selection. Many of our stallholders sell out before noon!
-
plan your menu around what is in season. All food is grown locally and is very reliant on the seasons and the weather.
-
ask questions - there are no resellers, you will be talking to the person who grows or produces/makes the food. They will have some great tips and recipes
-
bring cash and your own shopping bag - the market is a minimal plastic zone
We have a spot available every week for community groups to have a fundraising stall, thse include;
-
sausage sizzle
-
Cake Stalls
-
Biscuits
If your group needs to raise some money, contact the Market Manager to book your day and spot.
The Market is also on the lookout for some good entertainers to help provide a festive and relaxing atmosphere, this is on a busking basis to book times please contact the manager.
Additional stallholders are also welcome.
