Present day The Shortbread House offers a range of tasty and delicious Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, Egg, Sugar, Yeast Free Products that include: Biscuits, Shortbread, Bread, Cakes, Muffins, Scones, Slices, Pies, Muesli and yes even Flour mixs so you can make your own.
Our History Shelley has worked in the food industry for over 15 years. She started The Shortbread House in 2005 making Shortbreads and Bread made from Wheat flour and due to her daughters dairy intolerance Shelley also brought out a fabulously light and flavoursome Zesty Lemon Dairy Free Shortbread.
Shortly after starting she had people approaching her asking for gluten free products. After a lot of research, experimentation and a few door stops later a small range of gluten, wheat and Dairy free products emerged. Since then the range has expanded into a wide variety of tasty, nutritious products.
The Shortbread House has moved from Richmond and our new location is The Nelson Farmers Market at Fashion Island from 12pm to 4.30pm and the Saturday Montgomery Market.
