The Characteristics of Success for NZ Exporters

As part of the Export Hawke’s Bay Westpac International Breakfast series, Alasdair MacLeod, a partner in Deloittes, will be giving an overview of the last decade of his research into New Zealand export-focused businesses.

He will be looking at the common themes that have emerged across several country studies, with some simple home truths about the things that work, and the things that need to change if we are to be more successful.

In former lives Alasdair was City Construction Engineer for Gisborne City Council, a tree-pruner in the Whareratas, a commercial fisherman off the coast of Skye, and a bus driver in Greenock.

He is now an accidental orchardist living in Napier.

This is a not to be missed event that will be filled with insights into the way we should be looking at our business.
